Indian Institute of Technology Jodhpur organized Industry Day 2023 on 3rd and 4th February 2023 with an objective to establish links between industries and its academic and research programs. The two-day event engaged policymakers, scientists, industry experts, and entrepreneurs in meaningful discussions and formulates a way forward for stronger industry-academia linkages. Prof. Alberto Bianco, Deputy Director, CNRS, Strasbourg, France delivered an interesting talk on Design and biomedical applications of multifunctional carbon nanodots. Dr. Alberto Bianco received his PhD in 1996 from the University of Padova (Italy). As a visiting scientist, he worked at the University of Lausanne (Switzerland), the University of Tübingen (Germany), as an Alexander von Humboldt fellow, the University of Padova and Kyoto University (Japan) in 2019. He is currently First Class Research Director at the CNRS in Strasbourg
